At Evans Halshaw, part of Lithia UK, we're on the lookout for a

Vinyl Graphics Trainee

to join our expert Workshop team at Ford Trafford Park. You'll be learning specialist skills and using the latest tools and tech to apply high-quality vehicle graphics to some of the best-known automotive brands.

You'll have the opportunity to be involved with:



Create and prepare production artwork and plot files in line with brand specifications, ensuring all designs are accurate, clear, and ready for print Operate industry-standard machinery, including large format printers, laminators, and plotters, with confidence and attention to detail Weed and mask vinyl graphics with precision and care, ensuring each element is prepared to the highest standard for flawless application Apply vehicle graphics with accuracy and pride, taking personal ownership of the final look and ensuring every detail meets customer expectations Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand their requirements, offer solutions and deliver a final product that exceeds expectations Work as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team in a hands-on workshop environment

Do you have what it takes to be an Evans Halshaw colleague? We're looking for someone who has:



A genuine passion for creativity and the automotive world- whether it's vehicles or vinyl, you love working with your hands and bringing ideas to life Confident using IT and digital tools, with a good working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator A basic understanding of vector graphics and how to prepare files for print and plotting - or a keen interest in developing this knowledge through hands on training Excellent hand-eye coordination, essential for the prevision work involved in weeding, masking and applying vehicle graphics A sharp eye for detail and pride in perfection, with a commitment to producing clean, accurate and high quality work every time The ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production setting, without compromising on quality A positive, can-do attitude and a real desire to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset when working as part of a close-knit team
