Visiting Estate Manager (35 hours per week)

Our not-for-profit organisation has a great opportunity for you at this attractive, independent living, retirement development in Maidstone, comprising 74 units, requires a responsive and competent Estate Manager to oversee the day to day running of the estate and ensure it is maintained to a high standard. Responsible for managing regular building maintenance, supervision of contractors and regular health and safety checks, this role is essential to ensure the well-being of the residents.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, 35 hours per week



Salary: 25,207 per annum



The role of Estate manager is subject to a DBS check.

Requirements:



1 years' property management experience Excellent time-management skills Adaptable with a willingness to learn A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills You care about people and take a genuine interest in making a difference to their everyday lives Proficiency in basic IT skills is required, with basic 'handyman' skills and an interest in gardening This role will suit someone who has had previous experience in building or property maintenance; you will be able to work in a proactive manner and find solutions

Manage the day to day running of the estate Managing regular building maintenance and supervision of contractors Monitoring health and safety compliance and ensuring the buildings and grounds maintain their high standard this role is essential to providing an enviable place to live Professional, friendly and hands on approach to the management of your development You will be customer focused and possess excellent communication skills
