About the Role




Working alongside the Visitor Experience Manager and other Team Leaders, you'll be supporting, developing and leading permanent and temporary Visitor Hosts and managing daily front of house operations.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and inspire the Visitor Host Team to deliver a warm welcome and an excellent visitor experience. Be the first point of call for liaising with internal teams on day-to-day issues. Effectively carry out defined responsibilities for health and safety, safeguarding, evacuations and collections emergency planning. Undertake administrative duties including producing rosters, submitting timesheets and following HR procedures.

About You




We are looking for someone who can lead and inspire the Visitor Hosts and represent the team across the Museum. The successful candidate will have high standards with regards to customer care, an eye for detail and the ability to understand and follow museum policy and procedures.

Key Qualities, Skills, and Experience



Proven track record of supervising and delivering effective customer service in a similar setting Experience managing and developing staff in a public-facing environment Experience and understanding of health and safety and security standards as they affect a public venue. Good standard of education - GCSE Level English or equivalent, good numerical skills
