About the role




This is an exciting opportunity to join our Visual Design and Marketing teams, contributing to a wide range of creative projects that support our customer base. You'll play a key role in creating visually compelling marketing materials that strengthen our brand and help more people engage with their pension savings.


We're looking for a versatile designer with a passion for producing high-quality, engaging visuals across a variety of platforms, from web pages and social media assets to advertising campaigns and video content. You'll be confident using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Webflow, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Reporting to our Head of Visual Design, you'll help define and evolve our visual identity in the UK, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and helping us connect with customers in meaningful, impactful ways.

Key responsibilities



Website design - responsible for building and optimising our Webflow website into a high-performing conversion tool with a strong focus on visuals and accessibility. Optimise website imagery, content and marketing assets using analytics, CRO tools and performance insights to drive continual improvements and conversion rates. Develop and deliver high-quality visual assets that meet business and marketing needs across website, social media and digital campaigns. Create reusable templates, components and design systems for social media campaigns, infographics and other marketing assets - enabling scalable and efficient production. Produce visuals and interactive design elements, including animations, Lottie files, motion graphics and micro-interactions. Generate storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively. Contribute to the design system with icons, components, images and reusable UI elements that maintain consistency across platforms. Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, brand/comms teams and third-party agencies to ensure alignment, consistency and best-in-class user experiences. Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions to refine and elevate design quality. Stay up-to-date with design trends, accessibility guidelines and emerging technologies to keep visual assets and webpages innovative, engaging and user-centric.

Requirements




The successful candidate will have an appropriate combination of the following:

Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in a Visual Design or related creative role. Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders, with strong written and verbal English skills. Experience with web design building tools (e.g. Webflow or similar) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS. Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards (WCAG). Proficient in design and motion software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma (or similar tools). Expertise in optimising imagery and digital assets for speed, responsiveness, and high-quality display across devices. Demonstrated ability to create engaging motion graphics, interactive design elements, and data visualisations for web and social campaigns. Bring high quality and great attention to detail across everything that you do. Capability to address design challenges with creative solutions. Maintain brand guardianship by ensuring consistency and a cohesive identity across all visual assets. Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive design.
