Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Visual Media Creator.

This Visual Media Creator will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality hyper-realistic animations, motion graphics, videos, renders, and movies for internal and external communications, as well as managing content across key digital platforms including TikTok and YouTube.

The role requires a high level of creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to work to strict deadlines. A confident, can-do attitude is essential. You will develop work plans based on business and marketing strategies and use your initiative to create compelling content that brings these plans to life.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Visual Media Creator consist of but are not limited to:

Analysis of video metrics including appropriate analytics, implement balance scorecard reporting and suggest targets for continual improvement.

Planning, creating, and managing engaging content for TikTok and YouTube, aligned with brand tone and marketing objectives.

Working alongside external creative partners, including agencies and freelancers, to ensure consistency and quality across all visual media.

Developing a strategy, identifying gaps, and proposing content for audio-visual channels to achieve results in increased online traffic, increased visibility, and brand awareness in coordination with the overall business strategy.

Take ownership of the full cradle-to-grave process of videos inc: Storyboarding, scriptwriting, capturing, presenting and editing.

Create video production guidelines and manage their use to ensure consistency of video production across the company, globally.

Travel Requirements:

National travel will be necessary for on-location filming, photography, meeting customers, and colleagues. Ability to transport required kit is essential.

International travel may be necessary for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Qualification in motion graphics and video production/ or equivalent proven portfolio and professional experience, knowledge in visual media content.

Proven expertise of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D.

Experience and track record of managing and implementing video production, directing, filming, editing and producing video content.

Experience and track record in the production of hyper-realistic animations.

Excellent communication and English language skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the company.

Ability to work independently, under pressure and to manage complex projects.

Attention to detail, be highly creative and to be passionate about video production and content creation.
