Role Overview
The Visual Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and optimizing live TV shows to maximize sales, inventory efficiency, and customer engagement. The role works closely with Merchandising, Buying, Marketing, and Broadcast teams to ensure the right products are aired at the right time with strong commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly
TV show schedules
aligned with sales targets
Optimize
product sequencing, airtime allocation, and pricing strategy
Ensure effective exposure of
new launches, best sellers, promotions, and aging inventory
Collaborate with Buying & Merchandising teams on
stock availability and priorities
Monitor live show performance and analyze
sell-through, conversion, ASP, and revenue
Make quick schedule adjustments based on
stock changes, demand spikes, or business priorities
Coordinate with Marketing for
campaigns, events, and thematic shows
Maintain accurate planning data and reports using Excel and internal systems
Support peak trading events (sales days, festive programming, special launches)
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong
commercial and analytical mindset
Advanced proficiency in
MS Excel
(planning, tracking, analysis)
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, live broadcast environment
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
