Job Description

Job Purpose:

Supporting the Shift Manager to ensure the effective running of the Chilled Warehouse operation on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation. Ensuring that products are picked according to the production plan in a timely manner to ensure no downtime, working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers.

Ensuring an efficient, accurate storage and stock control operation is provided up to the point of distribution to the factory and a clear process off scanning the product at point of return to a location is followed.

VNA Duties:

Product Despatch: Responsible for the timely and accurate despatch of chilled product:

o Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and accurate, timely despatch of goods.

o Fulfil customer order requirements

o Fulfil customer shelf-life requirements i.e. minimum days into depot

o Achieve depot delivery times

o Despatch in accordance with customer / site codes of practice

o Despatch frozen product as required

o Intake materials for Factory production ensuring that they are fully booked in a timely manner and correct totals.

Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:

Key Skills

Ideally have previous Forklift experience, VNA, Reach or Counterbalance licences Experience of working in Warehouse or despatch departments. Experienced in scanning Familiar with stock systems and or stock taking processes Computer literate Ability to prioritise, achieve deadlines and make decisions Computer literate in MS Office Meets QVIP values
Additional Role Requirements

Role is subject to medical approval Able to work at 13 Metre Heights and must go through and meet
the requirements of an extensive training programme
