Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocal Teacher to join our music school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for music, and helping students achieve their musical goals.

Duties

Develop and deliver tailored lessons for individual students. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression. Prepare students for examinations and local festivals. Provide feedback to students and their families.

Requirements

Must have the knowledge to teach musical theatre and pop music. Would be advantageous if the candidate could also teach classical singing. Proven experience as a vocal teacher (minimum 1 year). Proficiency at an advanced level. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Patient, creative and adaptable. A passion for music education and a desire to inspire others through teaching. Achieved Grade 8 or equivalent.

The teaching position will be available from the end of August/beginning of September.

There is currently 2 afternoons/evenings of work available with room for expansion.

Salary dependent on experience.
