VoIP Telephony Engineer
Brentwood - Hybrid
35,000 - 40,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Benefits
On offer is an exciting opportunity for an experienced VoIP Telephony Engineer to join a growing telecoms provider at their Brentwood office.
The company is a trusted provider of telecoms and IT services, supporting businesses with everything from cloud telephony to structured cabling. With a strong reputation for service and technical expertise, they're continuing to grow - and are looking for someone who can help deliver at the highest standard.
In this role, you'll manage and complete the deployment of new 8x8 and 3CX systems, as well as upgrades for clients. You'll be hands-on with configuration, and support, while also assisting the helpdesk when needed. From project delivery to troubleshooting, you'll ensure customers receive an excellent experience from start to finish.

The Role:

• Assist with the helpdesk
• Configure and set up systems, routers, and services
• Provide customer support both onsite and remotely
• Work with the team to meet SLAs and project deadlines

The Person:

• Background in the telecommunications industry
• Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and cloud telephony
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with 8x8 or 3CX (both is a bonus)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support clients of varying technical levels
