Job Description

supports a kitchen team by performing a variety of tasks, including food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping), dishwashing, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, managing stock and deliveries, and operating kitchen equipment. They ensure smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food service and maintaining a safe, healthy environment, working under the direction of a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager. Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation:

Washing, peeling, and preparing food items like vegetables, fruits, and meats for cooks.

Cleaning & Hygiene:

Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors to uphold health and safety standards.

Stock Management:

Receiving and unloading deliveries, organizing the storeroom, and monitoring stock levels to ensure ingredients are available.

Kitchen Support:

Assisting chefs with cooking duties, setting up service counters, and providing support during busy periods or special events.

Equipment Operation:

Using and cleaning various kitchen equipment, including mixers, cutters, and washing machines.

Waste Management:

Removing food and general waste from the kitchen and maintaining clean waste areas.

Pay: 40,106.00-46,547.00 per year
