About the Organisation


Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC is a movement-led media and community platform dedicated to amplifying Black British, Caribbean voices. Through storytelling, podcasting, outreach, and creative campaigns, we tackle generational trauma, promote truth, and inspire transformation.

We are building a passionate founding volunteer team. This role will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time paid position for the most authentic, movement-driven contributor once funding is secured.

Role Overview


We're looking for a

Content Creator

with at least 3 years' experience producing impactful, engaging, and high-quality content across multiple platforms. You will play a vital role in developing the creative voice of the CIC, producing bulk content--including AI-assisted content--to grow our audience, boost our campaigns, and tell the powerful stories that drive our mission forward.

This is a hybrid role, combining remote creative production with once a month in-person content creation at our New Barnet base.

Key Responsibilities



Create, edit, compelling multimedia content (video, audio, graphics, written posts) for social media, website, newsletters, and campaigns. Use AI tools to produce bulk content (e.g., video clips, images, captions, articles) at scale without losing authenticity. Work with the podcast team to generate promotional clips, reels, and audiograms from episodes. Develop content calendars aligned with CIC projects and outreach goals. Repurpose and adapt content across platforms to maximise reach and impact. Collaborate with outreach, events, and marketing teams to ensure unified messaging. Create SOPs for content creation workflows to train future team members. Stay updated on trends in digital storytelling, community engagement, and AI content tools. Capture and showcase the essence of Black British, Caribbean, culture within all outputs.

Ideal Candidate



Minimum 3 years' experience in professional content creation for brands, campaigns, or community organisations. Skilled in social media management, short-form video production, and graphic design. Proficient in AI content creation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Descript, Opus Clip, Canva AI). Strong understanding of content marketing strategies and audience engagement. Ability to balance creative flair with mission-led storytelling. Familiar with Black British, or Caribbean cultural contexts and committed to authentic representation. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Lived experience within the black community focus is highly valued.
