Salary:

12.60 per hour, 20 hours a week / 13,104 per annum

Roles & Responsibilities:



Implement volunteer processes and procedures - including volunteer handbook, recruitment and induction, training and producing personal development plans for volunteers. Plan and deliver a range of activities for the community, aligned with participant needs, consistent with available funding. Capture feedback to enable greater insight for further opportunities. Develop and deliver engaging activities and programmes for the Youth Social Action Group during school holidays and half-term dates. Ensure the completion of risk assessments prior to each activity and event, alongside the Project Manager. Attend staff meetings and any required training or professional development activities. Maintain the volunteer & client databases, including regular update of files and review of information, supporting the Project Manager to produce reports as required. Alongside the Project Manager, liaise & collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners to promote community awareness of services, activities, events and volunteering opportunities. Proactively expand existing, and develop new, volunteer-led services to meet changing local need, including contribution to further project planning. Celebrate the contribution made by New Heights Warren Farm CommunityProject volunteers, by nominating individuals and groups for awards, organising events and setting out good news stories. Support the publicity and communication of charity events, services, activities and successes on the charity's social media pages and website.Contribute to reports for volunteer led activities to funders and trustees as agreed with the Project Manager. Ensure that all duties are lead in accordance with New Heights Warren Farm Community Project policy and procedures, and UK law. Carry out any other reasonable tasks commensurate with the role that may on occasion occur outside of normal business hour, this time will be claimed back as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).
