Job Description

Kent Association for the Blind is a Kent based charity supporting people with sight loss in Kent, Medway and the London Borough of Bromley.

We are looking for some drivers to help with a group which meet weekly on a Tuesday afternoon in Rochester, it is a small but popular group and we currently have a waiting list for people who would like to attend the group but cannot because of a lack of transport.

The group meet just off City Way in Rochester and the volunteer would be collecting the clients from their homes and returning to drop them back home again at the end of the session, you would be most welcome to stay at the group if you would like to. (There would no doubt be tea and biscuits/cake!)

Access to a car is essential for this position, we do pay mileage and cover other expenses if necessary.

Training is provided and support is available by phone if you have any queries. This role is subject to a DBS check which is free for all volunteers.
