You will be responsible for supporting volunteers across the National Trust Bath properties, which includes Dyrham Park, Prior Park Landscape Garden, Bath Assembly Rooms, Bath Skyline and Bathampton Meadows.

13.74 per hour

Hours/Working pattern

: Part-time, 30 hours per week



You'll need a way to travel as Dyrham Park is not accessible by public transport.



What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Senior Community, Participation and Volunteering Manager, you will be based in an office at Dyrham Park but will travel around the other properties to work with the staff and volunteer teams. This can be flexible, but you'll need a way to travel as Dyrham Park is not accessible by public transport.



What you'll be doing:Working predominantly with volunteer managers and volunteers, you will focus on delivering this year's volunteer strategy and helping to shape and deliver next year's strategy


As our Volunteer Experience Coordinator you will support Volunteer Managers to ensure volunteer processes run smoothly, including recruitment, database management, rewards and recognition, training and support. You will meet regularly with volunteer representatives, manage volunteer social events and lead listening sessions.


You will help to develop and support new flexible ways of volunteering, reducing barriers to access and helping to diverse our volunteering cohort. This may include working with other volunteer-based organisations, promoting opportunities outside of our properties, and attending local events and schools to talk about our work.


Helping to make our National Trust properties attractive and accessible to different audiences and ensuring the experience of volunteering with us is positive, flexible and inclusive are the core components of this role.
