Volunteer First Aider - Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Volunteer First Aiders to join our team and support our professional staff in delivering high-quality medical assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and an interest in healthcare, events, or sport.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in providing prompt and efficient first aid treatment in emergency situations. Administer basic first aid, including wound care and CPR when required. Provide first aid information and reassurance to members of the public. Assess the nature and severity of injuries or illnesses to determine appropriate care. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all treatments provided. Communicate clearly and effectively with emergency services when necessary. Ensure first aid equipment and supplies are fully stocked and ready for use.

Qualifications and Skills

First Aid certification preferred (training and support to gain qualification can be provided). Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. A reliable, professional, and compassionate approach.
