Volunteer Videographers (2-3 Roles Available)

Football Documentary Series

About the Role:

We're producing a behind-the-scenes documentary series following one of our football teams as they prepare for the new season.

We're looking for

2-3 volunteer videographers

to help capture the energy, personalities, and passion behind the scenes, from training sessions to match days, interviews, and team moments.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone studying

media, film or sports journalism

who wants to gain

meaningful, real-world experience

. You'll be supported by a

professional video editor

- so you focus on filming and we'll take care of the edit, however you would be welcome to edit episodes if you wanted the extra experience.

What You'll Do:

Attend

Tuesday evening training sessions

and

Sunday afternoon matches

Film:
- Training drills, warm-ups, and team talks
- Match action, sideline energy and goal celebrations
- Player interviews and coach reflections
- Candid team moments and behind-the-scenes atmosphere

Coordinate with the editor to capture specific shots or themes Rotate with other volunteers to keep time commitments manageable

What We're Looking For:

Passion for football, media or documentary-style storytelling Ideally studying or recently completed a media/film-related course Basic filming knowledge (camera operation, framing, sound) Access to a camera, gimbal and other equipment (some equipment could be provided for filming) Reliable, communicative and comfortable capturing live action
