Role Purpose
We are seeking a Part-Time Volunteer Funding and Grants Officerto help Your True Path to Wellness secure essential funding to sustain and expand our community and environmental initiatives.
Volunteer Funding and Grants Officerwillplay a key role in researching grants, preparing funding applications, and building relationships with funders to help us grow our impact.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about women's mental health, social impact, and sustainability, and who enjoys research, writing, and making a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify funding opportunities, including grants, foundations, trusts, and corporate partnerships.
Analyse funding criteria and assess suitability for Your True Path to Wellness projects.
Write and prepare high-quality grant applications and proposals.
Support the development of a funding strategy to ensure sustainable growth.
Track funding deadlines and maintain an up-to-date funding database or tracker.
Collaborate with the Director and project leads to gather project information, budgets, and impact data.
Prepare supporting materials such as case studies, reports, and evaluation summaries for funders.
Contribute creative ideas to help grow the organisation's fundraising capacity.
Skills and Attributes
Essential:
Excellent research and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Passion for women's well-being, mental health, and environmental sustainability.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development (voluntary or professional).
Familiarity with UK funding bodies, charitable trusts, or community grants.
Desirable (but not essential):
Knowledge of impact measurement or social value reporting.
Training and guidance can be provided -- enthusiasm and commitment are the most important qualities!
