Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. is a Black British and Caribbean-led podcasting, media training, and healing-to-entrepreneurship enterprise. Our work is rooted in storytelling and truth-telling around the ongoing

pandemic of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) within the Black British community

--a deeply ingrained issue that has impacted generations. We aim to break cycles of silence and trauma through authentic media narratives, creative healing programs, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Our mission is to empower survivors, amplify untold stories, and build thriving community-led ventures that promote justice, resilience, and collective economic empowerment.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary

Volunteer Lead Business Strategist

to guide the strategic direction of our CIC, ensuring our initiatives achieve sustainable growth and maximum impact. This role requires a big-picture thinker who can design and implement effective strategies for revenue generation, partnership building, and operational efficiency. You'll work closely with the founder and leadership team to align our social impact goals with entrepreneurial scalability--bridging the gap between healing work and thriving business models.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine long-term business strategies to scale our healing-to-entrepreneurship programs. Identify new opportunities for funding, sponsorships, and partnerships that align with our mission. Analyse market trends to position Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C.as a leader in our field. Guide the development of business models for podcast production, media training, and community-led products or services. Mentor team members in strategic thinking and entrepreneurial approaches. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and project leads to ensure cross-departmental synergy.

Ad hoc duties:

Under certain circumstances, you may be asked to fulfil other duties that support the overall success of the organisation, such as stepping into urgent project roles, assisting with fundraising events, or supporting media launches.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in business strategy, consultancy, or senior leadership in the non-profit or social enterprise space. Understanding of community-driven initiatives, especially within marginalised or underrepresented groups. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Passionate about tackling systemic issues and driving meaningful change through enterprise. Able to work independently while fostering collaboration in a remote or hybrid setting.
