Role Overview

We are seeking motivated, friendly, and social volunteers to join our

Community & Guest Experience Team

. Volunteers help us deliver memorable guest experiences through social engagement, light housekeeping, and operational support, contributing to the unique vibe that makes [Hostel Name] a home away from home for our guests.

Key Responsibilities Guest Engagement & Community Building

Welcoming new guests and helping them feel at home Facilitating social activities such as: Group dinners (e.g. pasta night, curry night) Movie nights, game nights, pub crawls, and themed events City tours, local tips sharing, and social meet-ups Helping build a friendly, inclusive environment where all guests feel comfortable

Operational Support

Assisting the reception team with check-ins and guest questions (no cash handling or bookings required) Keeping communal spaces (kitchen, lounge, bathrooms) clean and tidy Supporting staff with light housekeeping tasks, such as: Making beds or stripping linens Refilling supplies in shared spaces Reporting maintenance issues Helping set up or clean up after social activities or meals

Team Participation

Attending short team briefings to stay updated on daily priorities Communicating effectively with management and other volunteers

Volunteer Schedule

What We Look For
