About Us:

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. is a BAME-led, Survivor-led ,community-driven social enterprise dedicated to tackling a deep-rooted secret issue within the Black British/Caribbean community, Childhood Sexual Abuse. Through honest podcasting storytelling, Healing through entrepreneurship and collective community study of knowledge of self, we aim to spark transformation and inspire lasting change.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic

Project Design and Budget Development Specialist Lead

to work closely with our internal and external teams. This role involves

co-creating and co-designing

impactful programmes tailored to specific funders, as well as developing

value-driven budget breakdowns

that ensure maximum impact and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualise and design community-focused projects that align with our mission and funder requirements. Conduct needs assessments, research, and feasibility studies to inform project design. Create detailed and realistic project proposals, work plans, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive, value-driven budget breakdowns with justifications for each cost. Ensure project plans comply with funding guidelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Work with the leadership team to identify opportunities for project growth, scalability, and sustainability. Maintain clear communication between teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor budgets and advise on adjustments to maintain financial integrity.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in project design, proposal writing, and budget development (preferably in the non-profit or community sector). Strong financial literacy and budgeting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Additional Requirement - Ad Hoc Duties:

Under certain circumstances, you may be asked to fulfil other duties that fall outside your normal responsibilities. This may include assisting with events, supporting other departments, or taking on temporary tasks to help meet urgent organisational needs.
