Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Assistant to support our team in various retail activities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a preloved designer label store environment, while contributing positively to our charity. As a Volunteer Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission and support our initiatives.

We will provide training

Duties

.

Provide support to staff and other volunteers during store operational hours. Help with serving customers ,providing high customer service and processing sales at the till area. Cash handling and till operation. Assist in merchandising stock and keeping the shop floor looking fresh and tidy. window dressing. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Sorting, steaming and getting stock ready for our store sales floor in our stock processing area.

Experience

Previous experience in a volunteer or support role is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills. Basic organisational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.
