Job Summary
We are looking for new Volunteer Drivers to join our team at Oxfam Darlington Charity Shop!
As a Volunteer Driver, you will help our friendly shop team by collecting a variety of donations within the local area. Health & Safety training is given to ensure you are not at risk. Best of all you'll be raising vital funds to support people facing poverty around the world.
This voluntary role involves:
- Ensuring donors feel valued
- Collecting donations
- Arrange appointments to suit both yourself & the donor
- Making sure the managers know about collections
- Speaking to donors about Gift Aid
The ideal candidate will:
- Be reliable and able to work as part of a team;
- Have good communication skills;
- Have their own vehicle;
- Be available to work flexibly.
We can offer our volunteers valuable work experience in a retail environment, and the opportunity to directly contribute to Oxfam's mission to achieve a just world without poverty. We can provide references for our team, and we can provide travel costs in accordance with our expenses policy.

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
