We are looking for a Volunteering and Participation Adviser to join our team, based in the south of England, whether undertaking the role from home, our London office or one of our sites. The role is part time for 21.6 hours per week and permanent. Working patterns can be discussed at interview.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in volunteering and participation, who is keen to work in a central volunteering function of a national charity.



As Volunteering and Participation Adviser, you'll work as part of the team to drive and develop our approach to widening volunteering opportunities, ensuring that heritage is for everybody and supporting our existing volunteers to thrive.



You'll work alongside a range of colleagues to ensure they grow their confidence to deliver excellent volunteering opportunities across the charity. Whilst developing clear routes into volunteering, you will work with the wider team to ensure that the

systems, processes, practice and support are in place to take volunteers through their journey with us.



To be considered as a Volunteering and participation Adviser, you'll need:



A proven track record of developing and delivering volunteer programmes and support for volunteer managers. Clear experience of devising and delivering activities aimed at a variety of audiences Experience of working in a customer focused environment providing high levels of service Experience of monitoring and evaluation Experience of report writing and collating/ summarising information and statistics for a variety of audiences.
