Our client, a global leader in the live entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Antitrust Senior Counsel (can be VP title for the right candidate) to join their in-house legal team in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development and execution of competition law strategy across high-profile, multi-jurisdictional matters that shape the future of live entertainment.
About the Role
This newly created position will support the growing antitrust function, working closely with the Senior VP, Competition & Merger Control on a wide range of competition law matters. The role offers exposure to high-profile investigations, merger control proceedings, and strategic counselling across all business units.
Key Responsibilities

• Support responses to government investigations in the UK/EU, Member States, the US, and other jurisdictions.
• Assist with appeals and regulatory responses.
• Lead competition law analysis for acquisitions of horizontally and vertically related businesses globally.
• Manage regulatory filings and approval processes across Europe and internationally.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on competition and related issues to business leaders across the company.
• Collaborate with potential partners and third parties on competition law matters.
• Ensure compliance with undertakings and consent decrees accepted as remedies in mergers and other proceedings.
• Co-develop and deliver ongoing antitrust training programs.
• Represent the company at industry seminars and conferences.

About You

• Qualified lawyer, entitled to practise in the UK, Ireland, or another European jurisdiction.
• Likely 8+ years PQE in competition/antitrust law, gained in private practice (magic circle or international firm), government, or in-house at an international business.
• Experience with high-stakes regulatory matters and providing complex commercial advice.
• Deep knowledge of competition law, regulatory developments, and procedures.
• Strong autonomy, sound judgment, and a commercial mindset with robust risk management skills.
• Ability to assess regulatory perspectives and anticipate enforcement trends.
• Collaborative, non-hierarchical approach; comfortable working across diverse business units and jurisdictions.
• Passion for competition law and a commitment to continuous learning.
