Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join the Distribution Risk Management team, playing a key role in developing and evolving risk frameworks for loan underwriting and distribution activities across EMEA. This is a strategic position offering engagement with global stakeholders and involvement in high-impact projects.

• Support the Head of Distribution Risk Management in developing sophisticated risk models, policies, and frameworks for loan underwriting and distribution risk.
• Lead governance reviews and maintain risk frameworks aligned with regulatory and market best practices.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and share best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders across Risk Management, Loan Capital Markets, and Credit Departments to reinforce robust risk oversight.
• Drive strategic and regulatory projects, including ECB onboarding and high-velocity frameworks.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting and challenge on the loan underwriting book.

A successful VP Distribution Risk Management should have:

• 5+ years' experience in financial services
• Candidates with a mix of Loan Capital Markets (LCM), Loan Syndications, Credit or Market Risk would probably work well in the role, but it will also need to be someone who has an appetite for learning and for rolling up their sleeves and getting involved.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Knowledge of loan underwriting and distribution risk preferred.
• Project management experience or qualification is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
