Are you a strategic leader with a passion for sales excellence and innovation? Our Energy Division is seeking a Vice President, Delegate Sales to drive the global success of our delegate sales function across industry-leading energy events.
Reporting directly to the President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies that deliver profitable, organic growth and elevate the profile of the delegate sales function both internally and with our key clients.
Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire high-performing delegate sales teams to achieve and exceed ambitious targets.
Sales Performance: Drive results through effective delegate acquisition strategies aligned with a $27 million annual revenue target.
Collaboration at the Highest Level: Work closely with the Leadership Team to transform the brand and visibility of delegate sales.
Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat engagement.
Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends and new opportunities.
Data & Lead Generation: Develop and implement targeted data acquisition campaigns to grow our client base.
Performance Reporting: Oversee regular reporting on sales pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs to continuously refine strategy.
Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with marketing and other teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
Process Optimization: Champion the use of company systems and best practices to ensure operational excellence.
Event Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of each event's offering to effectively align delegate campaigns with event goals.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within B2B events or a similar dynamic environment.
A track record of delivering significant, profitable growth.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence and lead change at a senior level.
A visionary mindset, with the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in fast-paced environments.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.
