Job Outline:




We are looking for a dynamic and strategic VP of Marketing to lead Crowdcube's marketing efforts across the UK and EU. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving both demand-side (investor) marketing to scale traffic, conversion and investor engagement and supply-side (B2B) marketing to support commercial growth, across Crowdcube's marketplace.


As a member of the senior leadership team, you will own the marketing vision, shape our brand, and lead a team through an exciting period of evolution and opportunity. You'll combine data-driven decision-making with creativity, and bring the experience to lead through change, inspire high performance, and deliver measurable impact.

What you'll be doing:



Strategy & Leadership



Own and evolve Crowdcube's full-funnel marketing strategy (Supply & Demand) across the UK and EU, aligning with business goals and company vision. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to company-wide decision-making and strategy development. Navigate change confidently and positively; setting the tone for adaptability, resilience, and clear communication during periods of transformation.

Platform marketing



Lead B2C marketing initiatives to maximise traffic, drive conversion and increase investor engagement on the platform. Evaluate and implement new and innovative marketing activities to drive platform activity and user/investor growth Lead the development of marketing best practice guidance for companies using Crowdcube's platform and services

Demand Generation



Lead the development and execution of an integrated B2B marketing strategy in close partnership with sales leadership to drive pipeline growth and company acquisition. Deliver effective lead generation and nurture campaigns, ensuring high-quality deal flow for the commercial team.

Brand, PR & Communications



Champion the Crowdcube brand, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging and creative execution across all markets and channels. Lead PR and communications initiatives to raise awareness of Crowdcube and educate the market on the changing landscape. Manage external agencies and partners.

Team Leadership & Development



Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and creativity. Establish clear objectives, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and support ongoing professional development. Effectively allocate resources across functions and regions to maximise impact.

Data, Reporting & Impact



Own and improve closed-loop analytics to understand and communicate marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and platform growth. Report regularly to the senior leadership team on performance, insights, and opportunities for optimisation. Use data to continuously test, learn and evolve marketing efforts.


What we're looking for:



Extensive experience in driving traffic, conversion, engagement and maximising LTV of customers Experience in B2B marketing roles, ideally within a high-growth tech, fintech or marketplace business. Strong experience navigating change, setting direction, and leading through ambiguity. Experience developing and executing PR strategies and managing external communications partners. Strong analytical mindset, with experience in marketing attribution and performance measurement. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting to and working closely with c-suite members. Track record of building and leading high-performing, collaborative teams. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
