Job Description

At Care & Independence we provide services to vulnerable people. Our staff are well trained and passionate about delivering care with dignity and respect high on the agenda. We provide domiciliary care and support, including personal care and domestic services. We also provide community support services, respite in the home, and sitting services to assist family members to have a much-needed break. We provide services to adults over the age of 18 who may have a learning disability, mental ill health, acquired brain injury, physical or sensory disability, dementia, or conditions associated with old age. You will have the opportunity to make a difference to people’s quality of life. 
We are recruiting Homecare Assistants. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as we provide full training. We will support you to progress in your career and to achieve QCF qualifications in the social care field. The hours are flexible to fit around your life commitments and we will support you to have a good work/life balance. 
We have bonus schemes for performance and attendance, as well as a refer a friend scheme. You will have the opportunity to join an occupational pension scheme. We pay £9 per hour that increases with experience and qualification achievement. You will be paid 25p per mile from the first call to the last.  
The qualities we look for are commitment, compassion and good communication. The ability to drive and provide a car is essential.
