Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards. Uphold the restaurant's policies and procedures while fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is an advantage, particularly culinary experience. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly disposition and willingness to assist others. Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently.
