Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring high standards of culinary quality. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area throughout service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A passion for culinary arts and hospitality is highly valued.
