Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all preferences and dietary restrictions are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Handle payments accurately, processing transactions efficiently while providing excellent guest services.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in serving roles. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing transactions. Experience in kitchen or culinary settings is an advantage. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables effectively. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a pleasant rapport with guests. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both guests and team members.
