Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service. Assist in food preparation or set-up as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required. Clear tables promptly and maintain a clean, organised dining area throughout service. Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to deliver outstanding guest services. Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately. Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.21-13.20 per hour
