We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary knowledge and service skills.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential, alongside basic culinary skills. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in upselling techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
