Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions and offering recommendations, including upselling menu items where appropriate Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset efficiently between guests Maintain cleanliness of the dining area in accordance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety protocols Assist in setting up and closing down the dining area as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments Experience in guest services or customer care roles is desirable A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
