Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up areas for new guests Handle guest queries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Assist with basic food preparation or kitchen duties as needed during quieter periods Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including side stations and dining spaces Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding guest service Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales potential Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
