Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing an inviting atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or handwritten tickets. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell where appropriate. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring basic math skills are applied effectively.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a serving role. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently. Kitchen experience or culinary training would be beneficial but not mandatory. Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
