Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication. Perform basic math calculations for order totals when processing payments.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of serving techniques. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Basic culinary skills with kitchen experience beneficial. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Proficient in basic math for handling bills and transactions. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests.
