Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction. Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest services. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
