Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering outstanding service, taking orders accurately, and providing recommendations from our menu. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a friendly atmosphere will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. To cut, weigh and sell focaccia, whether it is takeaway or dine-in. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and respond promptly to any requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
