Duties

Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to kitchen standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
