Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are highly valued. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items Assist with basic food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required Maintain a clean and organised service area, including tables, cutlery, and condiments Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
