Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have finished their meals
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent guest service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with food preparation, kitchen safety, and food safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
