We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly smile.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Assist in training new staff members when required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables and tasks. A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of food preparation processes is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
