Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced wine bar environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong background in hospitality. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure all food safety standards are met during service. Deliver orders to tables promptly and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist with basic maths for processing bills and handling payments.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent hospitality knowledge, ensuring every guest feels valued. Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items to provide informed recommendations. Basic maths skills for accurate bill processing and handling cash transactions. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Understanding of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards in the restaurant environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, especially with kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations. Italian language is a bonus knowledge of Italian wine

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.00-15.00 per hour
