Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic waiter to join a Private Members Club dynamic team in a luxury restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for guest services and a strong commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Silver Service Waiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and well-cared for during their visit.

Duties

Take accurate food relaying them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food to tables while maintaining high standards of the silver service. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong guest silver service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. A genuine passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
