Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is a plus Demonstrated ability to work well in a team within fast-paced hospitality settings
