As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests are attended to promptly throughout their visit.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, as it aids in understanding menu items better. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services to create memorable dining experiences.
