Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to all food safety guidelines. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help guests feel welcome. Basic culinary knowledge to assist in food preparation and presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Proficient in guest services, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. Understanding of food safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
