Duties
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure that all orders are delivered accurately.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served.
Process payments efficiently while ensuring guest confidentiality.
Skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent guest services skills to create a welcoming environment for patrons.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
A background in hospitality or culinary arts is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting kitchen staff as necessary.
Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
