Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring their comfort throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Manage cash handling and basic math tasks during transactions effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant protocols and service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining or nightclub experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
